In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Cathlyn Choi recently produced and directed Asian Culture & Media Alliance’s 2021 Asian Pacific Cultural Showcase on May 28th, 2021. Hosted by CBS 8 News Anchor Alicia Summers, this Cultural Showcase was shot at San Diego’s Paradise Point Resort, produced in association with Carma Media Productions featuring 12 cultural dance and musical performances representing 8 API cultural groups and government officials from Southern California namely City of Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan, Chair, San Diego Board of Supervisors, Nathan Fletcher, Councilmember, LA City Council District 4, Nithya Raman, Assemblyman Steven Choi (AD-68), Mayor of San Diego Todd Gloria, Senate President Pro Tempore, Toni G. Atkins (District 39), Congresswoman Young Kim (CA-39).
